- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. About Tetris ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

- The game of Tetris entails various bricks. These bricks fall from the top of
- the screen until they hit another piece or the bottom of the playing field.
-
- The object of the game is to maneuver these bricks left and right and position
- them in a way that complete lines of blocks are created.

- When a line is fully filled, it is removed, and all blocks above it drop down
- one level. Bricks may also be rotated 90 degrees at a time.

- The game is over when there is no room for a new brick to be dropped.

- Choose New from the Game menu to start a new game or press Ctrl+N. You can
- rotate and move the bricks with the arrow keys.Arrow right moves a brick one
- position to the right. Arrow left moves a brick one position to the left. Arrow
- down drops a brick. Arrow up rotates a brick 90 degrees clockwise.

- Press Space to pause the game. To continue a paused game press Space again. You
- can select the bricks you want to use in the Options menu and change the
- default settings in the Skill dialog help.

- In the score window right to the Tetris window the following information is
- displayed: your current score, the level you have reached and (if selected) the
- next brick. The higher the line from where you drop your brick the higher bonus
- is added to your score.

- When the game is over and you have made it into the top 10 you are asked to
- enter your name. Choose Hall of fame to display the Hall of fame.

- Use the Lines spin button to specifiy the number of lines (10 - 100).

- Use the Lines filled spin button to specify how many lines should be filled
- when the game starts.

- The OK button saves the selected settings and closes the Skill dialog. A new
- game is started with the changed settings.

- The Default button restores the settings to their default values.

- The Cancel button closes the Skill dialog without saving the changed settings.
